Safety, products and allergies
Your little ones are in safe hands with us. Here's everything you might like to know about how we keep our parties fun, gentle and safe, from the products we use to how we handle allergies.
Before every party, parents fill in a short consent form covering allergies, sensitivities, any activities to skip and any additional needs. We patch test the face mask on each child before it goes on properly, and everything we use is non-toxic and suitable for children.

Abigail holds a current DBS check, and she's always happy to show you the certificate, before the party or on the day.
Fully insured
Little Hunnies carries public liability insurance covering the equipment we bring and the activities we run. Just ask if you'd like the details.
Our consent forms
Before the party, the hosting parent fills in a booking and consent form, and every guest's parent fills in a short form for their own child. They cover allergies, skin sensitivities, anything you'd rather your child didn't join in with, and any additional needs we should know about. We read every one properly and plan the party around them. If a child can't use a particular product, we simply swap it for something that suits her, so nobody misses out.
What goes on their skin
Lovely simple things! The face and eye masks are made fresh on the day from ingredients like yogurt, cucumber and fruit, so you know exactly what's in them. Lip balms are coconut oil based, and the perfumes are water based with natural scent drops. Nail polish and make-up are child-friendly brands, and the exact products can vary a little depending on what's in stock, which is exactly why the consent forms matter. There's no grown-up skincare anywhere in the party, and nothing is ever sold as a treatment.
Patch testing
Every child has the face mask patch tested before it goes on properly. It only takes a moment, and we do it every time.
Hygiene
Foot spas are filled fresh for each child and emptied afterwards, tools are cleaned between children, and anything that can't be properly cleaned is single use.
Food and drink
The only thing we bring that the children eat or drink is a soft drink on the packages that include one. That's usually pink lemonade, but if you'd rather they had squash, water or something else, just let us know and we'll happily swap it. Everything else at the party goes on skin, nails or hair.
Photos
Photos are completely optional. We'll only ever share a photo of a child on our website or social media if their parent has said yes on their consent form, and you're welcome to change your mind at any time.
Additional needs
Just tell us on the form what helps and what doesn't. A quieter pace, fewer activities, a different order, or somewhere to take a little breather: all of it is possible, and we'll shape the party around them.
Who does what on the day
We run the party and deliver every activity safely, carefully and with lots of fun. A parent or responsible adult needs to be at the party throughout, and the children stay in their care, just as they would at any birthday party at home. If we ever need to pause or adapt an activity to keep things safe, we will. It's your party, and we're there to make it amazing!
